Key metrics

The Key metrics cards show one number each. Every card is its own tile: move it, resize it, and choose what it shows.

Add, change and remove cards

Choose Edit Dashboard Layout, then Add metric card and pick a metric.
The gear on a card opens its settings: the metric, a custom title, the period, and whether to compare with the previous period.
In edit mode, the x on a card removes it.
Cards are shared by everyone in the organization; each person's layout is their own.

The metrics

Total Balance: everything you have today: investments plus revenue minus expenses, over all time.
Revenue: income in the period.
Total Expenses: expenses in the period, including recurring costs on their billing dates.
Net Profit: revenue minus expenses.
Total Investments: money invested in the period.
Company Valuation: worked out by the method you choose on the card.
Profit Margin: net profit as a percentage of revenue.
Monthly Recurring Costs: what your active recurring costs add up to per month.
Cash Runway: how many months your balance lasts at your recent monthly burn, or Cash-positive when you are not burning cash.

Periods and comparison

A card can cover all time, this month, last month, the last 30 days, this quarter, this year, the fiscal year to date or the last 12 months. With Compare on, the card shows the change against the previous period of the same length. Balance and runway are always "as of today".
