When a plan ends

When the last term of a plan (or a free trial) ends, the organizations attached to it are locked. Nothing is deleted at that moment.

What people see

• Members see that the organization's plan has ended, who holds the plan (and so can renew it) and who owns the organization. They can switch to any of their other organizations from that screen.
• The person holding the plan sees renew and upgrade options.
• Everyone sees how many days the data is kept and the date it would be deleted if nothing changes, and can choose Check again once the plan is renewed.

Getting going again

• Renew the plan, or choose Change plan to put a different plan on the same organizations. It starts right away.
• Or cover the organization from another of your plans that has a free slot (Cover this organization in Billing, Plans). An organization whose plan has ended can move; one whose plan is still running stays on it.
• Don't need the plan any more? Remove plan takes it off your list.

Your data

Your data is kept for 90 days after a plan ends. Renewing at any point in that time restores everything exactly as it was. If the plan is still not renewed after 90 days, the organization's data becomes eligible for deletion.

Reminders

You are notified in the app and by email before a plan ends and again after it has ended (a free trial gets one reminder the day before it ends). Notifications go to the plan owner. Reminders before a plan ends are optional emails you can switch off in Email preferences; the notice that a plan has ended is always sent.
