Configure a tile

Tiles with settings have a gear on their dashboard card and a Configure button in Your Tiles. Both open the same settings.

• Built-in tiles have display settings, such as rows to show, a default period or chart style. Metric cards are configured one card at a time with their own gear.
• Tiles that connect to an outside service ask for its address and credentials. Secret values are encrypted and never shown again: the form shows "Configured, leave blank to keep unchanged" and only changes a secret if you type a new one.
• Some settings appear only when they apply, for example the revenue multiple when a valuation card uses that method.
• Saving updates the tile straight away for everyone in the organization.
• Editing settings needs the permission to edit tile settings and credentials.
