Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 October 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Tilelytix ("Tilelytix", "we", "us" or "our") and govern your access to and use of the Tilelytix website at https://tilelytix.kaveeshkrishna.in, the Tilelytix application, the tile marketplace, the developer tools and every related service (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, clicking to accept these Terms, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund & Cancellation Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy and our Cookie Policy, each of which forms part of these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity, and "you" includes that entity. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use the Service.
- You must give accurate, current and complete information when you register, including a working email address and mobile number, and keep it up to date. Each person may hold only one account unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, for keeping your password and sign-in methods secure, and for telling us promptly at tilelytixsupport@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use. If you forget your password we email a single-use reset link to your account's email address; changing or resetting your password signs your account out everywhere else.
- Your Tilelytix ID (username) is unique across the Service. We may reclaim or change an ID that infringes someone's rights, impersonates someone, or is otherwise inappropriate.
2. Organizations, members and roles
The Service is organised into workspaces ("Organizations"). The person who creates an Organization, and anyone they make a superadmin, controls it: they may invite and remove members, assign roles and permissions, install tiles and connect integrations, and delete its data. Data entered into an Organization belongs to that Organization. If you are a member of an Organization run by someone else, the Organization's administrators, and not Tilelytix, decide what you can see and do, and may remove your access at any time.
If the only superadmin of an Organization that other members still use deletes their account, the member who joined that Organization earliest becomes its superadmin, and any plan of the departing person that the Organization runs on passes to that member for the rest of its paid term, with auto-renew switched off. The new superadmin is told and becomes responsible for the Organization and that plan.
3. Plans, free trials and payment
3.1 Plans
Organizations run on a plan. Each plan includes the number of Organizations, members, marketplace tiles and features shown on our pricing page when you buy it, for the period you buy. Plan limits restrict what can be added while the plan is active; we do not remove anything you already have because of a limit. We may change the plans we offer and their prices at any time; a change does not affect a term you have already paid for.
3.2 Free trial
- We may offer a free trial of a plan for the period shown when you start it (currently three (3) days). A free trial does not include tiles bundled with a paid plan.
- The free trial is available once per person. To decide whether you have already used it we rely on your email address, phone number and other account, device and usage signals, including records we keep after an account is deleted (see our Privacy Policy). We may refuse, shorten or end a free trial that we reasonably believe is being used to get around this rule.
- If you buy a plan during your free trial, the paid term starts when the free trial ends, so you do not lose any trial days.
- At the end of the free trial the Organization is paused unless a paid plan is in place.
3.3 Prices, taxes and payment
- Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) at checkout. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout or on your invoice.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment service providers (for example Razorpay or Paytm) or, where offered, by direct UPI transfer that we verify manually. We do not receive or store your full card details. Your use of a payment provider is also governed by its own terms.
- A purchase is complete only when we have received and confirmed the payment. For a direct UPI payment, you must upload proof of payment within the time shown; an order without valid proof expires. Providing false proof of payment is a material breach of these Terms and may be reported to the authorities.
- We issue an invoice for each completed purchase. It is available in your Account Center while the plan it is for is running and for six (6) months after that (an invoice for anything else: six (6) months after it is issued). We keep our own copy for as long as the law requires and send you a copy on request.
- A bundle offer is a set of marketplace tiles sold together at one price. Each tile in it is licensed to the Organization it was bought for, as if bought separately, and the invoice lists every tile it included.
3.4 Auto-renew
If you switch on auto-renew for a plan, you authorise us and our payment provider to charge the payment method you choose, at the start of each new term and at the then-current price of that plan, until you turn auto-renew off. You can turn it off at any time from Billing in your Account Center; it stops future charges and does not shorten the term you have already paid for.
3.5 Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In short, you may request a full refund of any purchase within twenty-four (24) hours of payment. Outside that window, and except where applicable law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable.
3.6 When a plan ends
When a plan ends and is not renewed, the Organizations attached to it are paused. Their data is kept for a retention period (currently ninety (90) days, as shown in the Service) and may then be permanently deleted. It is your responsibility to renew, or to export anything you need, before then.
4. The tile marketplace and integrations
- Tiles are dashboard widgets. Some are built into the Service; others are offered in the marketplace, either by Tilelytix ("official") or by independent developers ("community tiles").
- Community tiles are provided by their developers, not by Tilelytix. We review submitted tiles before they are listed, but we do not warrant any tile, its accuracy, availability or fitness for your purpose, and your use of a community tile is at your own risk.
- Before installing a tile you are shown the capabilities it requests (for example, reading your Organization's transactions or connecting to an external service). Installing it is your consent to those capabilities.
- Some tiles connect to services you use (for example WHMCS, Paymenter or Razorpay) using credentials you provide. You must be authorised to use those credentials. We store them encrypted and use them only to provide the tile's features. Your use of those services remains governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
- Figures produced by the Service, including balances, profit, runway and valuations, are calculated from the data you and your integrations provide, using the methods described in our documentation. They are for information only and are not accounting, tax, legal or investment advice.
If you publish tiles, our Tile Creator Terms also apply.
5. Your content and data
- You keep all rights in the data and content you put into the Service ("Your Content"). You grant Tilelytix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display Your Content only as needed to provide, secure, support and improve the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You are responsible for Your Content and for having every right and consent needed to put it into the Service, including personal data of your customers, staff or other people.
- We may create and use aggregated or de-identified information derived from use of the Service (which does not identify you or any individual) for any lawful purpose, including analytics, benchmarking and improving the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping your own copies of Your Content. We keep backups for our own operational purposes and do not promise that any particular data can be restored.
6. Acceptable use
You must use the Service lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content, disable tiles or integrations, or suspend accounts or Organizations that breach it.
7. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback (including through the account deletion form), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it for any purpose without obligation or payment to you.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos and the Tilelytix name, is owned by or licensed to Tilelytix and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business purposes. You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or create derivative works of the Service except as these Terms or the law expressly allow.
9. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account from the Account Center. Account deletion is described in our Privacy Policy and on the deletion page itself.
- We may delete an account that has no Organization, has never bought anything and has not been signed in to for a long period (never less than ninety (90) days). We email the account at least fourteen (14) days before, and signing in during that time keeps it. The deletion works the same way as a deletion you request.
- We may suspend or terminate your account, an Organization or your access to any part of the Service, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law or a lawful request of an authority, if your payment fails or is reversed, or if your use creates risk or possible legal exposure for us or others.
- On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including fees owed, Your Content licences for backups and records, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) survive.
10. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE, ALL TILES AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that calculations will be free of errors, or that data will never be lost.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (a) TILELYTIX WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL OR DATA, HOWEVER CAUSED, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY; AND (b) TILELYTIX'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TILELYTIX IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE THOUSAND INDIAN RUPEES (INR 1,000), WHICHEVER IS GREATER. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless Tilelytix and its owners, employees and agents from any claim, loss, liability, penalty or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service or any tile or integration, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may change, add or remove features of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the updated Terms apply from the date shown at the top. For a material change we will give notice by email or in the Service before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting any proceedings, you agree to first contact us at tilelytixsupport@gmail.com and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days. Any dispute that is not resolved will be finally settled by arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by Tilelytix, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration will be the city of Tilelytix's registered office in India, and the proceedings will be in English. Subject to the above, the courts at the city of Tilelytix's registered office in India have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the policies they refer to are the entire agreement between you and Tilelytix about the Service.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent possible and the rest of these Terms remain in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, or to an affiliate.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including failures of hosting, payment or communication providers.
- Notices. We may send notices to the email address on your account or show them in the Service. You may send notices to tilelytixsupport@gmail.com.
16. Contact and grievances
Questions about these Terms: tilelytixsupport@gmail.com. In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, complaints may be addressed to our Grievance Officer (Kaveesh Krishna Pandey) at tilelytixsupport@gmail.com. Postal address: available on request by email. We will acknowledge a complaint within forty-eight (48) hours and try to resolve it within one (1) month of receipt.
