Tile Creator Terms

These Tile Creator Terms apply when you submit or publish a tile on Tilelytix (you are then a "Creator"). They add to our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy; where they conflict, these Tile Creator Terms apply to your tiles.

1. Submitting and review

  • Every tile and every update is reviewed before it is published. We may approve, reject, request changes to, or remove any tile at our discretion, including for security, quality, legal or commercial reasons.
  • We decide the tile's marketplace listing, including its identifier, category and whether and when it is published. We set the price at approval and may change it after telling you.
  • You may ask us to unpublish a tile. Organizations that already have it may keep using the versions they installed.

2. Your promises

  • You own, or have all the rights needed to license, everything in your tile, and it does not infringe anyone's rights.
  • Your tile does only what its description and requested capabilities say. It must not contain malware, hidden functions, tracking, or code that collects or sends data beyond what users approve.
  • You will keep any credentials, data or information you receive through a tile confidential and use them only to provide the tile.
  • You will support your tile reasonably and fix security problems promptly after you learn of them.

3. Licence to Tilelytix

You grant Tilelytix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, review, run, reproduce, display, distribute and promote your tile and its listing, and to let Organizations install and use it, for as long as it is published and afterwards for Organizations that already installed it. We may make changes needed for security, compatibility or presentation.

4. Revenue share

  • For each paid sale of your tile, you earn the creator share shown in your Developer dashboard at the time of the sale (currently seventy percent (70%) of the amount actually paid, after discounts and excluding taxes). Tilelytix keeps the rest.
  • Earnings are recorded in your earnings ledger. Payouts are made under the payout terms we publish in the Developer dashboard, which may include a minimum balance, verification of your identity and tax details, and deduction of applicable taxes. Until payouts are made available, earnings accrue in your ledger.
  • If a sale is refunded or charged back, the related earnings are reversed.
  • Earnings from fraud, abuse or a breach of these terms may be withheld or reversed.
  • Tiles given free by you, or included in a Tilelytix plan, do not earn a creator share unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Removal, suspension and account deletion

We may suspend or remove a tile at any time, including without notice where there is a security or legal risk. If you delete your Tilelytix account, your tiles are removed from the marketplace; Organizations that already installed them may keep using them, and we may keep hosting the installed versions for that purpose.

6. Liability

You are responsible for your tiles and will indemnify Tilelytix against claims arising from them. The disclaimers and limitation of liability in our Terms of Service apply to Tilelytix's obligations to you as a Creator.
